We welcome programme suggestions. These will be sent to the Music Director. It helps him each year to put together interesting concerts. Many factors dictate what we can play. Some works require an orchestra too big for our venues. Others involve combinations of instruments which would prove tricky. Some works we would like to play do not fit in with other items in a particular programme. If you would like a certain piece played, send your a suggestion to firstname.lastname@example.org
This year’s ticket price for the orchestral concerts is £18 for adults and £3 for Students. There are no further concessions. The Young Persons and Chamber concerts (Sunday and Thursday) are free to enter, but a donation (which can be gift Aided) would be welcome.
There is a concession for students. This is to encourage young people to take an interest in classical music. We hope that our ticket prices will be seen as low for the quality of music they provide and we encourage people to come to as many of the concerts as they can.
