FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Ticket Returns:

We do not guarantee to refund the price of returned tickets. Refunds are entirely at the discretion of the Committee. Please contact us if you have purchased tickets which you cannot use. We will see if we can help.

Disabled access:

The Avenue Methodist Church, Minehead is wheelchair friendly and has disabled toilet facilities.

In Minehead, the Regal Theatre now has a lift to help wheelchair users up to the auditorium where they have spaces reserved for two wheelchairs each with an adjoining seat for someone accompanying the wheelchair user. Disabled W.C.s are also available. Contact the theatre for more information on 01643 706430.

Programme suggestions:

We welcome programme suggestions. These will be sent to the Festival Committee and Music Director. This helps us to put together interesting concerts each year. Many factors dictate what we can play. Some works require an orchestra too big for our venues. Others involve combinations of instruments which would prove tricky. Some works we would like to play do not fit in with other items in a particular programme.

Concessions:

This year’s ticket price for the orchestral concerts is £20 for adults and £5 for Students. There are no further concessions. The Young Persons and Chamber concerts (Sunday and Thursday) are free to enter, but a donation (which can be gift Aided) would be welcome.

There is a concession for students. This is to encourage young people to take an interest in classical music. We hope that our ticket prices will be seen as low for the quality of music they provide and we encourage people to come to as many of the concerts as they can.
